Waiver of English Exam 

Certain naturalization applicants who are permanent residents may be entitled to take the naturalization test in their native language if they meet one of the following conditions:

* over 50 years old and residing in the United States for 20 years in Lawful Permanent Resident Status or

* over 55 years old and residing in the United States for 15 years in Lawful Permanent Resident Status or

* having certain medical issues
